NECTARIA

Nectaria is a family-run ice cream shop specializing in Greek yogurt ice cream topped with fresh, flavorful ingredients. This type of ice cream offers a creamy texture and distinctive taste, while also being a healthier alternative to traditional yogurt-based ice cream—something the client was eager to highlight from the very beginning. But as we dug deeper into the consumption experience, we realized that, for most people, ice cream is less about making a “healthy choice” and more about enjoying a moment of indulgence. We also saw the importance of creating a brand that felt inclusive and approachable to a wide audience, rather than one perceived as exclusively health-focused.

 

It was also essential for the client that the brand’s core value—GREEK YOGURT—be front and center. So, we designed an identity that draws from the classic visual cues of “Greekness,” like blue and white, but gives them a fresh, illustrated twist that feels playful and far from cliché. This approach keeps the design clean yet warm, approachable, and relatable to a broad range of customers.

 

The visual language takes inspiration from Greek mythology, imagining a whimsical Olympus where gods and mythical creatures enjoy their ice cream together. Paired with a witty tone of voice, light philosophical nods, and a touch of humor, the result is a brand personality that’s both charming and easy to connect with.
